3 Ways to Get Involved with Hope Springs
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Hope Springs. We offer many different volunteer opportunities for community members.
Individuals or groups can volunteer for a one-time service project or provide a volunteer commitment on a regular basis for an extended period of time.
When you volunteer with Hope Springs you are helping to further our mission to provide an accepting, loving home environment in the Spirit of Jesus where residents can recover from the effects of domestic violence.
If you have a talent, interest or skill and if you are passionate about our mission, there’s a place for you to volunteer at Hope Springs.
We love our volunteers! They are important to us and the work that we do. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer give us a call or follow the steps below:
Hope Springs is diligent to provide safe and quality services to our families. Therefore, we assure that those that volunteer directly with our residents have continued training and screening.
Hope Springs provides emergency housing and services for individuals and families escaping domestic abuse.
We help them reach their goals of self-sufficiency and independence through programs offered in a supportive and Christ-centered environment. We work to prevent domestic violence by raising awareness in our community.
We have a great team who values working together for a common cause. This important work is rewarding and challenging at the same time. If you have a passion for helping men, women and children who are survivors of domestic violence and would enjoy working in a supportive, Christ-centered environment, explore careers at Hope Springs.
Hope Springs offers a variety of internships. Students work with our staff to support residents in a variety of ways. And, as they do so, they gain valuable experience in their fields of study. Because interns use the skills they’re learning in the classroom in this real-life setting, they gain confidence and experience that will serve them well down the road. A national criminal records check will be conducted on each staff member or volunteer prior to employment. Criminal records which include convictions for sex offenses, crimes against persons, child abuse or neglect or other violent crimes will result in elimination from consideration. A total criminal history will be evaluated to determine if there is a pattern of criminal behavior that would detract from the mission of Hope Springs. If the criminal history reveals any non-violent offense dating back one year and/or the person is on probation, consideration will be given on a case-by-case basis.
Pray for this ministry. Our goal is to help families know that they are loved and valued by our Heavenly Father.
You can pray for peace in the home and for the residents to know the love of God. You can pray for healthy relationships and recovery.
